Facial Cupping

A lymphatic drainage facial is a soothing and relaxing "manual" facial massage using gentle but effective brushing motions to reduce swelling in the eye and neck area, as well as the rest of the face. For added benefits, use as an complement to any other facial treatment or schedule in between office visits as maintenance.

The suction effect used during facial cupping pulls blood into the area of skin underneath the cup. This saturates the surrounding tissue with fresh blood and promotes new blood vessel formation. Smaller cups work best on sensitive areas, including under your eyes and eyebrows, along your nose and T-zone, and around your mouth. Larger cups work best on larger areas of skin, such as your forehead, cheeks, and along your jaw.

Although facial cupping is generally considered safe, minor side effects are possible. They typically occur during or immediately after the treatment. Facial cupping will not be performed on broken or inflamed skin which includes active breakouts, rashes, and sores.
